How Soon Can I Return to Work After a Brazilian Butt Lift?
Let’s face it: You’re definitely interested in a Brazilian butt lift.
What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
This FDA-cleared procedure uses your body’s own fat to augment the volume and shape of your buttocks, all without the risk of rejection that often comes with using implants for butt augmentation. So whether you want to fill out your jeans more or just enjoy the look of an ample backside, you can’t wait to start enjoying the results of your procedure.
When Can I Return to Work?
To answer that, let’s take a look at the recovery process, including when you can expect to return back to work:
- During the first week, you’ll need to spend as much time recovering as possible. You’ll be wearing a compression garment for at least six weeks; you may also have drains for at least one week. You’ll need to sleep on your stomach and avoid long periods of sitting, as that can interfere with the fat’s placement. For that reason, if you have an office job or any other job where you have to sit, it’s recommended that you take 1-2 weeks off for recovery.
- By the third week, you should be able to go back to the gym and do light activities. By week six, you should expect to be given the green light to go back to your normal routine including sitting and lying on your backside.
