What is the recovery time for liposuction?
Following surgery, you will be asked to wear a compression garment for approximately three weeks, at which point the major swelling and bruising have resolved, with about 60% to 70% of the result becoming visible. The final result will be apparent in approximately three to four months after the residual swelling has subsided. The effects last a lifetime, as long as you maintain your weight. Even if you do gain weight, you should see an equal distribution, and not a disproportionate quantity of fat developing on the areas treated.
