What is Renuvion?
Renuvion is a unique, minimally-invasive procedure that uses a blend of helium plasma and RF energy to contract the underlying tissues of the skin, which helps to tighten and tone sagging skin. Also called J Plasma, the system produces a specific type of helium (plasma). Helium gas processed with radiofrequency energy causes the skin to shrink on the treatment site without causing discomfort or requiring surgery.
During your Renuvion treatment, a thin cannula is inserted through tiny incisions to deliver the helium plasma, which is then energized with radiofrequency energy, which results in immediate contraction of the soft tissues and the stimulation of collagen production.
The Renuvion procedure takes 30 minutes or more, depending on the size of the treatment area, and can be performed with local, oral, or general anesthesia.
