Before the treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied to your skin in the targeted area. However, because SKINVIVE™ contains lidocaine, it may not be necessary to use an anesthetic. Next, one of our skilled providers will inject SKINVIVE™ into your facial skin using a very fine needle; you may feel a slight pinch, but it shouldn’t be particularly uncomfortable.
